Individual Therapy
I see individuals in person in San Francisco and online throughout California who are navigating sexual shame, anxiety, life transitions, and grief. Therapy can be a place to slow down and listen to what’s asking for attention beneath the noise of daily life. When we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves, it’s often because something important has been pushed aside—sometimes for a very long time.
Who I Often Work With
I specialize in working with queer and gender-expansive clients, especially those carrying the weight of early sexual stigma. Many of the people I work with have learned to monitor themselves closely—what they feel, what they want, what might be “too much”—often long before they had words for why.
Artists, writers, and tech professionals often find their way to me when inspiration feels blocked or when the very passions that fuel their work start to feel overwhelming. Others come because success hasn’t brought the sense of meaning or ease they expected. Often, the struggle isn’t failure but the quiet exhaustion of sustaining a life that looks successful while feeling increasingly disconnected inside.
In therapy, this may show up as sexual shame or confusion, anxiety or chronic self-criticism, grief and loss, identity questions or major life transitions, burnout or overwork, or difficulty accessing desire, creativity, or rest.
You don’t need to have a neat explanation for what’s wrong. Often, part of the work is discovering the question together.
How I Work
I don’t see symptoms as problems to fix. I see them as messages from the unconscious asking to be honored and understood.
In our work together, I integrate relational, depth-oriented, liberationist, and somatic approaches. At your pace, we’ll listen inward to understand your experience more fully by paying attention not just to thoughts, but also to emotions, sensations, and patterns that have developed over time.
As awareness grows, it becomes a resource. Many people find they’re better able to respond rather than react, to set boundaries with more clarity, and to live in closer alignment with what matters most to them.
