What are your fees?

My fee is $175 per 50 minute session for individual therapy and $220 for couples. I don’t bill insurance but can provide a monthly superbill for reimbursement upon request. I may offer some flexibility on the fee depending on your financial circumstances, though the number of those slots is limited.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not currently accept insurance and therefore “out of network”. I’m happy to provide you with a monthly statement known as a “superbill” if you’d like to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. While the cost is sometimes higher, the benefit of out of pocket therapy can mean less constraints on treatment length or number of sessions.

Do you offer in-person therapy?

Yes, I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy. My office is located at 1197 Valencia Street in the Mission district of San Francisco.

How long does therapy last?

It depends. Some types of therapy follow a structured, time-limited model with a set number of sessions and specific objectives. While that approach can be helpful, it’s not the kind of therapy I offer.

Instead, we’ll collaborate on goals that are meaningful to you and revisit them over time. Developing awareness of your inner world is a gradual process; how long therapy lasts will depend on what you’re working through and what kind of change you're seeking.

That said, therapy shouldn’t feel open-ended just for the sake of it. I’m ethically committed to checking in regularly about how the work is going, whether it’s helpful, and when it might feel right to end or pause our work together.

What if we’re not a match?

I want you to feel seen and understood! If you don’t, therapy isn’t going to help. I hope you’ll trust me enough to let me me know, and I’ll do my best to refer you to someone who aligns with your needs.

Cancellation Policy

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Please let me know prior to 48-hours ahead of our appointment time if you need to cancel, or you will be charged for the cost of the missed session.
